TRIPOLI, Libya - The fight for control of the Libyan capital Tripoli is continuing with clashes, airstrikes and heavy shelling in southern residential areas.

Medical authorities say that in the past 10 days there have been 682 casualties, consisting of 121 dead and 561 wounded. Among the dead are nine civilians including 4 health workers. Another twenty two civilians have been wounded.

"Displacement numbers continue to rapidly increase with over 13,500 individuals already displaced (most of them staying with family and acquaintances); people displaced in collective shelters has increased to over 900.
