InterContinental Hotels Group PLC (the Company) Purchase of own shares
LONDON, UK / ACCESSWIRE / October 3, 2022 / The Company announces that on 30 September 2022 it purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 20340/399 pence each through Goldman Sachs International ('GSI') on the London Stock Exchange in accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 6 May 2022 (the 'Purchase'). The Purchase was effected pursuant to instructions issued by the Company on 09 August 2022, as announced on 09 August 2022.

Aggregate number of ordinary shares purchased: 29,979
Lowest price paid per share: £ 43.1600
Highest price paid per share: £ 44.2800
Average price paid per share: £ 43.6729
The Company intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury.
Following the above transaction, the Company holds 7,682,074 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 180,035,646 shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
