On July 28, 2022, SolarEdge competitor Ampt, Inc. ('Ampt') filed two complaints against the Company alleging patent infringement, including one before the U.S. International Trade Commission ('ITC').
On August 29, 2022, the ITC issued a statement that the federal agency voted to institute an investigation over the claims alleged in Ampt's complaint.
On this news, the price of SolarEdge shares declined precipitously.
