Two-time All-Star infielder Josh Harrison reached agreement on a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Phillies, his agency, MSM Sports, announced Sunday.
The 35-year-old Harrison will receive $2 million, according to the New York Post.
Harrison batted .256 with seven homers and 27 RBIs in 119 games for the Chicago White Sox last season.
The Phillies will be the fifth team in five seasons and sixth overall for Harrison, who was a National League All-Star for the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2014 and 2017.
Harrison batted a career-high .315 in 2014 and hit a career-best 16 homers in 2017.
Overall, Harrison has a .272 career average with 71 homers and 378 RBIs in 1,168 games. He spent eight seasons with Pittsburgh (2011-18) before he began bouncing around the majors, playing for the Detroit Tigers, Washington Nationals, Oakland Athletics and White Sox.
Harrison is primarily a second baseman but also factors in at third base. He can also play the outfield and shortstop.
The Phillies are defending National League champions.
